Well, that's that!

As previously stated, that's that. I'm done. Done with BNCOC. Finally... I never thought this day would actually come. It's hard to believe that I've been here since February 17th. A lot has happened since I've been here, and it's crazy to look back on it. Now begins the long journey home. I don't know what time I'm supposed to get my "diploma" tomorrow, so I don't know if I'm going to get on the road tomorrow or just stick around for another day, get some rest, and then head out on Saturday. I'll probably stick around in Ohio for a day with the family then head out on Sunday and go back to Tennessee. I'm looking forward to getting back, but it's going to be bittersweet. I really don't have a whole lot to talk about tonight, except that I'm done with this stupid ass school...My wit is drained today, so no funny quips for you. Goodnight, everybody!

That long black train....

There's a long black train coming down the line feeding off the souls are lost and crying. Rails of sin, only evil remains. Watch out brother, for that long black train...

Well, that's me on my soap box of music. Josh Turner, in case you weren't aware. I recommend you look up the song if you're unfamiliar...

Well, I'm winding down the last few days of school here. We test out on Thursday and graduate on Friday. I may not leave here until Saturday. But the new development is that I'll probably have to drive to PA to pick up Duke because Joe (my father-in-law) is going ape-shit because he has so many dogs at his house. Yes, I know...my fault. But how can you deny the sweet sweet face of a fawn boxer? He's a great dog and I only want the best for him so I'll go up there and bring back home to Dixie. I'll just have to figure out who's going to watch him while I'm gone on trips and rotations because I refuse to give him away...he's apart of my family.

To my loyal followers, I apologize for my absence of the blogging world. These last few months have been...off. Most of you already know my current situation, so I won't go into detail, but I'm back in full force. Thank you, to all of you that still stand behind me and call me "family". I know we all make some huge mistakes in our lives but if I could go back in time and take this one away, I would.

In any case, I'm doing just fine. Virgina is a different sort of state. They call it a "Commonwealth", but I tend to lean towards "Communist". Sorry, Walt. You're my brother-in-law and I love you as such, but this state is a bit off. It does offer many museums for the viewing public and a very scenic countryside but the law enforcement here is much different then most Americans are used to. I should know. I've been pulled over here more times than my entire 8 years of driving. I actually had to go to court and pay fines...3 points on my expired license, ladies and gentlemen. I know what you're thinking..."Kyle, break the law?!?! NEVER!" Yes, I broke the law and received a slap on the wrist for it. That was just the start...pulled over and given a "fix-it" ticket for a burned out headlight. WHO DOES THAT???? Just tell me it's broken and I'll fix it!...In any case, these last few months have been really really rough.

Well, just to let you know on the haps of the next few weeks, months, and years...I'll be back in TN sometime this week/weekend. I'm going to start with the painting in the kitchen and dining room. I'm planning on laying some hardwood throughout the dining room, living room, and hallway. Mason's nursery will hopefully be completed and I'll start adding all of the baby accoutrements along the way. If anyone has an decorating tips for me, I'd greatly appreciate the advice. Well, that does it for me here. I leave you with this...I'm fucking hammered. Good day folks!

Not so smooth operator...

Well, the pressure has been on to finally post another blog...Currently I'm sitting in Walt and Lisa's kitchen while everyone eats pancakes, bacon, and eggs. For obvious reasons, that I'm sure most of you know there haven't been many postings coming from "this guy". If you don't know by now, just ask someone else in the family as I really don't want to get into details as to my current situation. For those that know, I'm not proud by any means of what has happened and I will do everything in my power to make it right again...

Caroline and Mason are doing just fine. He's a kicker! The doctors forewarned Carrie that he'll be a bit of handful. He is, however, very healthy and looking forward to his release from the womb. His Daddy is definitely looking forward to meeting his new son...Mason Joseph McKee.

I'm still in BNCOC. I FINALLY graduate next week. Thursday is our final exam and then I'll get my "diploma" on Friday. Seeing as how I would prefer to not travel through the night again, I'll probably stay an extra day and then leave out on Saturday. This school has been a living nightmare and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. I've spent the last 3 months more or less relearning my job, staring at computer screens, and reading manuals. A complete waste of time, if you ask me. I never thought I'd ever actually look forward to going back to work. But then again, my job is pretty freaking sweet and once I get back I'll get to finish my quals and start getting into the rotation of things to come. That's something I'm looking forward to, even though I'm sure most of you probably aren't.

As for me, I'm going to go home and start doing some home improvements. I'll probably start with the easy stuff, like painting and then move into some more difficult projects such as hardwood and tile. At some point I'll start posting some pictures of the house for all to see. Well, that does it for me.
